Death of Prince Philip the Duke of Edinburgh
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Prince Philip, the Duke of Edinburgh. We offer our condolencies to Her Majesty the Queen and other members of the Royal family.
Funeral arrangements have been revised in view of prevailing circumstances and Buckingham Palace has requested that people do not gather to lay flowers and also request that people do not gather and stay away from the funeral or other arrangements due to the pandemic. The funeral will not be a state funeral and he will not lie in state.
Physical condolence books will not be used, however an online condolence book is available at www.royal.uk.
A selection of messages will be passed onto member sof the Royal Family and may be held in the Royal Archives for posterity.
