Planning Committee
Great Wakering Parish Council Planning Committee monitors, investigates and comments on all building applications submitted to Rochford District Council Planning Department.
Meetings are held on a regular basis as and when required and are scheduled to take place after the plans for building applications are received from Rochford District Council Planning Department.
Parish Councils act only as Statutory Consultants and all final decisions are made by the local Planning Authority which in our case is Rochford District Council.
Great Wakering Parish Council would encourage residents to use their elected District Councillors and ask them to represent their views on all local planning matters.
Meeting Dates, Planning Agendas and District Councillor contact details can be found on the Parish Notice Boards. These situated at the Council Offices in Little Wakering Hall Lane, the Village Memorial Hall in the High Street.
